I was excited to get to try Bluum box this month. I found a coupon code for 50% off my first box so I figured why not? The coupon is still valid and will automatically be applied to your cart for one box when you click through with this link (affiliate link). If not, enter smile50 for the discount.
Bluum box is a subscription box for babies and kids. You can either chose the products yourself or let them surprise you. You’ll receive 4 full sized products based on your kid’s age an interests. There are lots of categories to choose from too (feeding/clothing/toys/potty/hygiene/safety/etc). I chose the option to pick what I wanted all for Lachlan, but all the things they had to choose from were super cute and useful so I would’ve been happy with the surprises too. Here’s what I got:
- A caterpillar grasping toy. This is super cute and you can bend the wooden shapes around ($8 value)
- A microwave steamer for fruits and veggies ($7 value)
- Jeep sunshade clings ($5 value)
- Wooden kitty click-clack toy ($10 value)
- Total value of products = $30
Everything in this box retailed for about $30 (this is based on my Googling skills, prices are listed on the website when you pick the products though), so for the price you pay with the coupon it was a total score! However, the original cost for one month of Bluum without a coupon is currently $34, so unless you sign up for a 3 months package or more, you aren’t really saving money with the one month subscription. So if I were you, I’d sign up with my link to get half off one box and give it a try!
The products are great and change each month so I think you’d be happy with a 3 month (or more) subscription anyway. The value also depends on the products you choose since I’m sure the dollar value will vary depending on what you pick. I’m getting another box in April so I’ll be sure to post again and compare the value with that box.
But I loved everything I received and was happy to get to try new brands and products out.
