I love Bluum for the cute products and getting to try new products I didn’t know about otherwise. But this is the third box (out of 4) I’ve received that is valued at less than what the box costs ($34). The only way I can justify continuing to receive these boxes is by either using a coupon code each time so you don’t pay full price, or by earning referral points and redeeming those on future boxes, which is what I’ve been doing since my first box.
Here’s what I got:
- Melissa and Doug Puppy toy ($9.99 value)
- Jean Pierre makeup remover towelettes ($7.49 value
- Boon Pulp feeder ($5.99 value)
- Boon Chomp whale bath toy ($9.99 value)
Total value of box: $33.46
Price of box: $34
What I paid: $0
Again, another box that cost more than the items inside. I don’t get it. The stuff is adorable, but it’s continually frustrating to see. Yes, I choose the items myself, but price value isn’t listed so unless you go on a Google hunt, you won’t know what things cost. Last month was a fluke because one item was really expensive, but compared to the other two months, this seems to be a running issue I’ve come to expect.
However, if you’d like to try Bluum, and not pay full price since the items inside tend to cost the same or less than the cost of the box, I have a coupon code for $10 off your first box to make it worth your while. Use code GETBLUUM at checkout.
