Huge List of Monthly Subscription Boxes (like Birchbox)!

May 28, 2013

subscription boxes

This list is constantly being updated with your suggestions. So if you know of one that isn’t listed here, please leave it in the comments so I can add it.

Subscription box companies: At this time, I’m currently not accepting any items to review due to the pending the arrival of our baby.

Monthly subscription boxes are such a fun idea! Who doesn’t like the idea of getting monthly packages?  So to see what else is out there, I searched for monthly subscription services where you receive a box of deluxe samples or handpicked products in the mail each month. I included a list of companies that ship to the US, Canada and the UK. Companies below offer sample boxes catered to men, some for pets, and some for babies.
I’ve also done reviews on a number of the boxes listed below, so be sure to check them out if you’re interested in seeing what they have to offer!

**Please be sure to read their terms and conditions before purchasing
in the event I have any information incorrect.
Note: Some of the links below may contain my referral codes and affiliate links .

I have just canceled Birchbox after about a year of subscription. It was fun to see open the box every month but usually once every 3-4 months there was actually something I used the rest were all just little sample packs.. some promotional cards and things that did not interest me. Now I am looking to try a different box!

    • Reply cindy September 29, 2015 at 1:56 am

      try glossy box

  • Reply Martha August 27, 2013 at 6:45 pm

I love this list! I was searching for a comprehensive list just like this. I just recently signed up for Birchbox, but haven’t received it yet. I’m looking forward to opening a box of goodies.
Two that are not mentioned is NatureBox. They send 5 full size healthy snacks a month for $19.99, great alternative for chips and junky snacks that I would otherwise eat.
StitchFix is the other. It’s like having a personal shopper for someone that doesn’t like to shop for clothing or doesn’t have the time. There is a questionnaire that one fills out so they get a sense of your style and they send you 5 pieces. There is no subscription required, but you can sign up to get a box every month. They is a $20 styling fee that is applied to anything you decide to keep. I have added some great pieces to my wardrobe through them.

Artsnacks is also one. You get 4-5 name brand art products for $20 a month. Plus they always give you a little snack, and a card that tells you how to use your new products.

What beauty boxes ship internationally? I’m over in barbados in the Caribbean and we have nothing like this at all.

How about a monthly cocktail kit subscription? sends ingredients and recipes to make 4-5 cocktails to your door every month!

I canceled my birchbox too. It started to become all tiny samples that I felt like I could get for free at Macy’s. I switched to and have been really impressed so far. This one is jewelry and accessories instead of beauty products but it’s $15 with no shipping so the price point is similar. I also like stitchfix but that one has a lengthy waitlist and is pricey.

Hi. I’m Izzy from a company called Cocoa Runners (

We at Cocoa Runners care a lot about our chocolate. In fact, we source our bars from all across the world, and don’t sell them unless they have been tasted and approved by our chocolate experts. All the chocolate we sell is small-batch and bean-to-bar, meaning that our makers control the entire process of production; from selecting the beans to choosing the wrapping. Not only does this process create delicious tasting chocolate but is more ethical than fair trade.

By joining our club, subscribers receive a box containing four different artisan chocolates based around differing themes each month. The box also includes a letter detailing the thinking behind the theme, as well as tasting cards outlining how to correctly taste chocolate, and the flavour notes to expect. The cost is £14.95 a month.

We’d love to be added to your list please. Do get in contact if you have any questions!

For runners, triatheletes, etc, . They’re a small business that samples health products from all over the world, and they sell the good ones as monthly packages which you can gift to yourself or someone else. The price varies depending on what’s in the Race Pak, and they currently just ship in the US.

I didn’t see Love with Food suggested. It is box of snacks that are usually organic, non-GMO or gluten free (healthier snacks) for $10 a month plus $2 shipping for the month to month subscription. With each every box you receive they donate a meal to a hungry child in the US. You should check them out and add them to your list

Great list. I currently subscribe to Birch Box, Ipsy & Tom box (AKA Swaag box) which I didn’t see on ur list. I like Birch Box but Ipsy is better atleast Junes was. I just got my first Tom box. Its $12 a month for 4 samples full & luxury size, 1 box tampons/pads of ur choice & jewelry (costume). I love it. Tom box was a better value for the same quality products. For an additional $4 u can have Tom box add shavers of ur choice each month. I may give up Birch box & try some of these others u listed out. Thanx
