My March Stitch Fix and a $75 Giveaway!

March 28, 2016

This is my first Stitch Fix where I received shoes! Yes, Stitch Fix is now introducing shoes into your fixes! I was so excited when I saw them in my box, and even more so when I realized they are adorable and look great with jeans or a skirt. Let’s see what I got, shall we?

A quick note to those new to Stitch Fix:
Stitch Fix is a personalized subscription box where you receive 5 pieces (clothes, accessories or shoes) based on your size, style preferences and budget.  You then keep what you like, and return the rest! Fixes can be sent automatically each month or on your own schedule!

Each fix includes a set of style cards which give you ideas on how to wear your new pieces. Here’s my style cards, which are great to save and refer back to when you’re needing outfit ideas:

Ok, so first up are these Toms booties. As usual when it comes to my fixes, I wouldn’t have thought I’d like the look of these (I’m usually a sneakers and flats girl), but how would I know that unless I tried? I ended up loving these and keeping them!

Next up is this Sines Skinny Lapel Blazer by Pixley. I specifically requested a blazer in my next fix, and my stylist Erica sent this one! As much as I loved it, I was hoping for something a bit heavier to wear outdoors and this one was lighter than expected. I sent it back but with a note that I’d prefer a heavier one for next time.

Next up is this Bernadette Lace Overlay Raglan Top by Market & Spruce. I love this top! I like how it can look either laid back while worn without a jacket, showing the 3/4 length jersey knit sleeves, or professional when worn with a jacket.

I also asked for a wrap dress in a more neutral color than the one they sent me last month. So Erica included this Rocco Jersey Faux Wrap Dress by 41Hawthorn. Unfortunately, the fabric was a bit too heavy for spring so I sent it back. But I totally appreciate my stylist taking the time to include things I requested.

Also included were a pair of Macie Bootcut Jeans by Dear John. I asked for a pair of boot cut jeans and it took a few months to get a pair that fit just right, and these were that pair! I’m 5’3 so inseam length is important and these fit great. Kept!

Here’s everything all together! Stitch Fix says they aim to send individual pieces over complete outfits, but all these pieces worked great together! I wish I would’ve loved the blazer more, but perhaps with my next fix, scheduled for May.
